PhD completed — joining UTFPR as a Professor

On October 3, 2025, I completed my PhD in Geodetic Sciences at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with a sandwich research period at the Politecnico di Milano (Oct 2023–Mar 2024). My dissertation, Toward a Global Pedestrian-Centered Map: An Open Framework for Mapping, Validating and Publishing Active Mobility Networks, was advised by Silvana Philippi Camboim and co-advised by Daniel Rodrigues dos Santos.

Today, August 4, 2026, I am joining the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Pato Branco campus, as a full-time Professor. I’m looking forward to continuing research on accessibility mapping, collaborative cartography and open geospatial tools alongside teaching.
